Description
Important to Chicago Builders. -Sealed proposals will be received until January 21st, 1856, by Neil Donnelly, Esq., Woodstock, Ill., for building a Courthouse and jail for McHenry County. The main building is to be 44 feet square, with four end projections of 20 feet each, to be surmounted by a cupola and dome. It is to be built of brick and stone, and must be completed by the 1st of October, 1857. The thousand dollars will be advanced on the 16th of March next, if desired, for the purchase of materials. The plans, drawings and specifications may be seen at the office of Van Osdel & Baumann, Architects.
