Welcome home Company G 1898

Description

"When the electric sign up on the Murphy block, which read 'Welcome Home' when Company G returned from the Spanish American war. That sign caused almost as much excitement as the actual return of the soldier boys themselves, and how proud everyone was of it!" [Wdstk Sentinel 3-13-1937 Sec 8 p5].
