Welcome Home 1919 Benton St. South & North

Continuing the tour of the decorations around the Square for the Welcome Home celebration June 10, 1919, this view of Benton Street starts with Mead & Charles Grocery and extends all the way to Church street. Pennants and banners are draped on wires crossing the street while the buildings and poles are decorated as well. The Murphy Block is slightly forshortened with part of the American National Bank sign visible.
