Description

Wind damage Southwest corner of South Street at Dean Street sometime between 1891 when Tripp started his photography business and 1923 when the old Methodist Episcopal church burned down. It is likely before 1900 since lights started to be installed in 1897.
Note wooden sidewalks, dirt streets and horse & buggy.
117 South Street: Christian Science Reading Room.
House is probably 123 W. South Street. Blanch Hooker lived there with her father George, mother Fidelia and brother G. Clifford Hooker.
