Woodstock High School Basketball 1915
Title
Woodstock High School Basketball 1915
Description
Clarence Sherburne has the ball in this photo of the Woodstock High School basketball team. The photo is not dated, but Clarence graduated in 1915. In similar team photos, the captain usually holds the identifying ball. Unfortunately, there is no 1915 Blue and White Yearbook to corroborate the date.
This is the earliest photo that "Woodstock" is printed on the jerseys.
Only a few people have been identified. Front left is Zoia, and Arthur Anderson is to the right of Clarence Sherberne. Joe Bergthal is on the right in the top row.
