Description
A man with a snow shovel is standing in front of N. P. Soto's Shoe Shineing (sic) Parlor on Sunday, January 6, 1918.Two others stand on the sidewalks behind him. The message on the back of the postcard says "Dated Sunday, Jan 6-1919. Woodstock. I was the one that got to work." It is unsigned, but perhaps refers to the photographer (donor Dorothy Burbank Luedtke's uncle Melvin Tripp) or the man with the shovel.
Also visible are a portion of the Courthouse with the Sheriff's House on Johnson street and V. E. Jone's Boarding and Feed Stable on Throop Street.
