    <dcterms:description><![CDATA[Appliances can be seen in front of Dacy Electric with barrels of clothes in front of Hogan&#039;s Distinctive Apparel and spilling over in front of the bakery. The awnings over the sidewalk are almost all metal with the exception of the canvas owning over Stone&#039;s Drug Store.<br />
Dacy&#039;s has a Zenith sign in addition to its Appliances sign. Lloyd&#039;s sign is visible along with the others that are clearer in ID 303. <br />

    <dcterms:description><![CDATA[The writer for the Eltra Woodstock Die Casting company took pictures of community events to include in the employee newsletter &quot;The Spotlite.&quot; This series of photos was taken for Fair Diddley in 1971. Fair Diddley booths did not extend into the Square Park.<br />
The diagonal sidewalk from the west entrance passes by the (roofless) bandstand towards the Main St. entrance. The very small trees were replacements for the towering elm trees that were toppled by the storm of July 1967.<br />

    <dcterms:description><![CDATA[Woodstock Die Casting employee picnic with carnival rides, games and food. This gunny sack race is taking place on the baseball field. The cars are parked at the top of the hill. The toboggan slide, demolished when liability became of concern,  is partially visible behind the cars. It was located at the top of the sledding hill near the north edge.]]></dcterms:description>

    <dcterms:title><![CDATA[Car crash through Bohn&#039;s window 1971]]></dcterms:title>
    <dcterms:description><![CDATA[A large sedan has backed into the front window of Bohn&#039;s Ace Hardware, taking out the posts that hold up a metal awning. A woman left her car running while she went to make a deposit at the State Bank (101 S. Benton). When she returned to the car, she heard it drop into gear. It jumped the curb and demolished a parking meter before crashing into the window. The driver was cited by the police for leaving a vehicle running while unoccupied.<br />
